In order to obtain a taxi licence, a medical examination should take place before the application stage and again when the renewal of your licence is due. The frequency of the test is determined by the council you are licensed by/intend to be licensed by. Please note that some councils require your medical to be done by your own GP, therefore we ask you to kindly confirm with the council that we are able to do a medical for you before booking. Please ensure that you bring the relevant Licensing Authority Medical Assessment Form with you.

Please come with a copy of your medical records from your GP.

If for any reason on the day you do not meet the standard for us to issue a medical certificate, we will try to make recommendations and you will be offered a free retest after you have acted on the recommendations.
